The Flammkraft plancha stands for direct, intense cooking on a 5 mm thick stainless steel plate. This creates pronounced roasting aromas while keeping the food juicy on the inside. Classics such as gambas al ajillo, thinly sliced beef steak or salmon with crispy skin turn out just as perfectly as Mediterranean vegetables, smash burgers, fried eggs or crispy potatoes. Pancakes and crêpes can also be prepared with precision on the evenly heated surface. The side walls and the plancha plate are fully welded and have no drain. This keeps oil and liquids safely contained on the surface — ideal for dishes that require more juices or sauce than on an open grill surface.

The stainless steel lid significantly expands the range of applications. It stores heat, reduces temperature loss in windy conditions and allows cooking with hot steam. Thicker cuts of meat can gently finish cooking, burger patties can be topped with melted cheese, and dishes such as paella or risotto can be prepared comfortably. Two selectable lid positions — fully closed or with ventilation gap — provide additional control over temperature and moisture.
